Citizens Advice is a high profile service, with a strong reputation for delivering free, high quality, impartial advice to those in need.

Citizens Advice Scotland, our 60 member bureaux, our Citizens Advice consumer service and the Extra Help Unit together form Scotland’s largest independent advice network.  We help more than 295,000 people solve their problems each year in communities everywhere from city centres to the Highlands and Islands.

We look at the problems people bring to our advice services and campaign for change where it’s needed most. So when we speak out about something, it’s because it matters to people – whether it’s limiting the damaging effects of welfare reform or making sure payday loan companies can’t ruin lives.

In order that we can maintain the governance structure of the organisation, we are seeking experienced and motivated people from outside the Citizens Advice service to join our Board of Trustees.

In particular, we are keen to appoint individuals with the following knowledge and experience:

  • Significant senior management experience in a substantial organisation
  • Significant senior management experience in the communications, networking and PR
  • Senior management experience of HR matters
  • A background or in depth understanding of new technology

For more information on the organisation and how to apply, please visit www.aspenpeople.co.uk/CAS.  For a confidential discussion, please contact Ken Dalgleish or Amy Gordon on 0141 212 7555.

Closing date: Monday 7 January 2019.

To apply, please complete the short form below and upload your CV and covering letter. You should receive an automatic acknowledgment – if you do not please contact Kelsey Sinclair on 0141 212 7555.
