Our client is a £multi million turnover fresh food manufacturer with a blue chip portfolio of customers in the multiple retail sector, and a first class reputation for quality and innovation.

With a track record of sustained growth, the company is now looking to strengthen its senior team further with the role of:

 Technical Head, Central Scotland, attractive salary and benefits

The Role

You will lead the technical function across multiple sites, delivering first class standards of product and processes which exceed the requirements of the most demanding multiple retailers.

You will ensure the business achieves the highest levels of accreditation concerning food safety and quality by developing and implementing industry leading QMS systems.

An experienced people manager and effective senior team member, you will develop your team to achieve high standards of performance, while operating as an effective member of a small and dynamic senior team, reporting to the CEO and working with functional heads to deliver quality results in a fast moving commercial environment.

A person with high ethical standards, you will uphold and protect the integrity of the business from a  quality and safety perspective.

The Candidate

You will be an energetic, hands-on manager with a strong track record in senior technical management within fresh food processing, and with experience of working with major multiple retail customers.

You will have excellent communication skills, both internally and with customers, and you will be accustomed to operating effectively in a dynamic commercial environment.
