The Projects Team at Glasgow Chamber of Commerce are seeking a dynamic and passionate Senior Project Manager to manage and deliver innovative and potentially high-profile project activity within the business community working in partnership with a wide range of stakeholders. A primary focus will be on developing Circular Glasgow, our exciting and ambitious initiative designed to support businesses progress their circular ambitions and to become more innovative.
You will work closely with the Senior Director to provide leadership and direction to support Glasgow Chamber of Commerce’s Climate Chamber work as this develops, as a post COP26 legacy with bold ambition. You will identify opportunities to develop strategic commercial projects including the circular economy, the wider climate agenda and other themes relevant to the city’s economy and business community.
We’re looking to speak to candidates who are highly experienced with handling multiple projects and budgets to a high quality. You’ll demonstrate awareness of circular economy and the wider climate change agenda and have excellent knowledge of Glasgow’s economic development. Project management skills are essential, and you will have proven experience of securing funding opportunities, bid writing and applications.
