Senior Policy Specialist

Carnegie UK
Senior Policy and Development Officer
Dunfermline + Home-based
Salary in the region of £40k

Carnegie UK is looking for two Senior Policy and Development Officers to help us put wellbeing at the centre of policymaking.

Our Senior Policy and Development Officers lead cross-cutting teams to deliver a mixture of policy, research, practice development and advocacy work.

These are mid-senior policy positions and would suit people who are keen to further develop their career in the field of public policy and social change, with prior experience of managing programmes of activity as well as engaging proactively with policy making and political processes. Their background might be in social research, economics, community development or the civil service.

Carnegie UK offers a supportive working environment and exceptional terms and conditions. For example, we operate a 35-hour working week and 5 days paid off each year for volunteering.

We operate a hybrid working policy and staff spend a minimum of two days each week together in our office at Andrew Carnegie House in Dunfermline.

Carnegie UK’s purpose is better wellbeing for people in the UK and Ireland. We are a charitable foundation set up over 100 years ago, based in Dunfermline and established with an endowment from Andrew Carnegie.
