We are working in partnership with Viewpoint to recruit a Senior Maintenance Officer to provide leadership and direction to the maintenance team while upholding the values and behaviours embedded within the organisation. The successful candidate will provide technical advice and support to the team and Association departments in all technical assignments. In addition, the role involves completing quality monitoring techniques and supervising approved contractors while providing monthly performance reports to the Head of Asset Management.

Essential for this role is some experience in a similar role within the social housing industry and in a managerial and supervisory position. You must be able to display good interpersonal skills within a customer service environment, with a flexible working approach and the ability to motivate teams. You must also be able to manage a varied workload. It is important that you are competent with main computer programmes and have a current driving license. Additionally, it would be beneficial to be qualified to HNC/SVQ Level 3 in construction or in a related discipline.
