Thenue is one of the larger developing associations in the Glasgow area.  In 2017/18 their £18million development programme will deliver 116 units over 3 sites and their Business Plan identifies a future projects to deliver a further 430 units in the next 5-8 years.

Thenue Housing Association owns 2826 properties in their six main communities and has 18 supported accommodation projects mainly located in Glasgow.  They provide a factoring service to a further 600 owners within their communities.

The Property Services Department is responsible for the Asset Management and Development functions of the association.  The postholder will take responsibility for budgeting, planning, implementing and monitoring the Association’s major repairs and cyclical repairs programmes. He / she will also be responsible for the planning and implementation of programmes to ensure compliance with statutory/legal/health and safety requirements relative to planned and cyclical programmes and in conjunction with the Property Services Manager (Development) ensure that all programme targets are achieved and that programmes are in line with current strategies. As a member of the Operational Management Team you will also be required to contribute to the preparation of business plans, budgets and other strategic documents.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a social housing property/building management environment and significant experience and working knowledge of managing and delivering Planned/Major Repair and Cyclical Maintenance programmes including meeting legal requirements for asset compliance e.g. gas, asbestos, legionella. 

You will have a full valid driving licence. You should also be able to display excellent communication and customer service skills and be computer literate.
