Streamline Shipping Group is a family owned company that has been in operation for 35 years with headquarters at Blaikies Quay in Aberdeen Harbour and depots around Scotland (Glasgow, Aberdeen, Orkney and Shetland), as well as in Humberside.

The Group provides integrated shipping, haulage, distribution, storage, import / export, forwarding, stevedoring, agency and chartering services. We consider ourselves to be specialist in more complex or ‘difficult’ jobs and have a wealth of experience in the handling and moving of project cargoes. Our sea freight operations give access to and from Scotland’s Northern Isles of Orkney and Shetland, with daily departures from Aberdeen.

Our current Managing Director is moving on and we are now looking to recruit an experienced senior Director. Reporting to the Chairman you will be responsible for the overall performance of the company. You will direct and control the company’s operations and give strategic guidance to the Board. You will ensure that the company reaches its aims on growth, profits and increasing shareholder return whilst continuing to operate within the relevant statutory and industry regulation.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record at senior management level, ideally within the logistics or related industries. With visionary leadership skills you will have a high level of commercial awareness and financial acumen.
