Wishaw & District Housing Association is currently looking for a Maintenance & Asset Manager to lead the maintenance team and deliver exceptional customer service through providing a high quality repairs and maintenance service.

WDHA is a community based housing association which was established in 1978, this was a result of a joint initiative between Motherwell District Council and the Housing Corporation Scotland. The association has delivered a number of developments since 1990 building up to a stock of 973 homes whilst providing excellent services to their tenants.

The association is currently in period of transition and improvement; we are recruiting for 3 management posts which include the Finance Manager, Corporate Services Manager and this position. This is an excellent time to join with a new ambitious management team coming on board to assist the Chief Executive in taking forward the business plan.

The post holder will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Asset Management Strategy for the association, working with the management team and board you will ensure full compliance in relation to EESH, gas servicing, asbestos, health & safety. Delivering first class services for tenants and ensuring value for money will involve procurement and effective monitoring of the works which will be carried out by contractors from the agreed framework.

This role will play a significant part in ensuring that Wishaw & District Housing Association continues to provide high quality homes for residents, through effective delivery and staff management.
