One person in five in the UK is affected by lung disease. Millions more are at risk. The British Lung Foundation (BLF) is there for every one of them. They support people affected by lung disease, so that no one has to face it alone. They promote greater understanding of lung disease and campaign for change in the nation’s lung health. BLF fund vital research so that new treatments and cures can help to save lives.

Leading the BLF in Scotland and Northern Ireland you will be working with the government, the NHS and patients to improve respiratory health and respiratory services in Scotland and Northern Ireland. From national campaigning to supporting local service developments, you will show a passion for improving the lung health of Scotland and Northern Ireland.

BLF are looking for a leader with excellent skills in building and maintaining relationships.  With experience in working with health or social care in Scotland and Northern Ireland, you need to demonstrate influence at a national and local level to bring about improvements and change.
