We are ready and able to improve on our current performance and the role of Head of Finance will assist in realising these ambitions.

The Head of Finance will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of an efficient, accurate, responsive and professional finance department, providing a high quality, value for money and customer focused service. The role has responsibility for financial accounting, budgets, management accounting and reporting as well as treasury and cash management. Along with finance IT systems the role will also be responsible for the management and development of staff within the finance department.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level and will possess a professional accountancy qualification. You will have substantial middle or senior financial management experience and will have up to date and thorough knowledge of accounting standards and experience of producing annual financial accounts. Experience of presenting financial information will be important and you will have excellent communication skills.
