A.M. Phillip, one of Scotland’s leading suppliers of commercial vehicles, horticultural and groundcare equipment are seeking a dynamic and motivational leader to join their small senior management team.

The Financial Controller is tasked with overseeing an extensive variety of duties undertaken by the Head Office Finance team, including preparation of monthly/annual management accounts for each of their 3 trading companies, high level financial review, analysis and reporting, presenting management accounts at branch meetings, as well as advising on business decisions, and preparing and forecasting budgets. In addition, you will manage the Finance team and supervise the audit, payroll, tax and compliance processes.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a Financial Controller, having worked within an accounting / financial background for at least 5 years. You must be CA /CIMA qualified, with a thorough knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and procedures, as well as experience of creating financial statements.
