AKVA Group is looking to appoint a Financial Controller (FC), to be fully responsible (supported by a small team) for all aspects of the Company’s financial controls and reporting. Reporting to the UK General Manager, and with dotted line responsibility to the Norwegian Group, the FC will form part of the UK Senior Management Team and show commitment to the entire company’s long term profit generation capabilities. The FC will further provide a strategic perspective on opportunities, tactical recommendations, and operational improvements.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant, with a “hands on” pragmatic approach, and will have the ability to challenge and drive changes whilst maintaining strong attention to detail. Previous FC, manufacturing and systems implementation experience would be an advantage; above all candidates will have a strong desire for excellence and innovation in pursuit of business growth and success.
