The Incommunities Group is an ambitious and progressive organisation with a focus on delivering profit for a purpose. To continue our advancement towards achieving our strategic objectives, we are seeking to appoint a Director of Organisational Development.

The Director of OD will lead the development and delivery of an Organisational Development Strategy that supports a multi-disciplinary workforce achieving challenging objectives, whilst delivering Value for Money, within an integrated operating environment.

Working in partnership with the Board and Senior Leadership Team, trade union colleagues, our customer base, advisors and stakeholder organisations, the Director of OD will develop and implement the OD strategy. This will transform our business, overcoming existing functional and professional barriers to achieve continuous improvement in an efficient, customer focused, digitally aware and dynamic way.

The Director of OD’s remit includes responsibility for all Human Resource Management functions, corporate communications, learning and development services and customer employability initiatives.

We are looking for an experienced and inspirational leader who understands the impact of change within a customer oriented business with a social purpose. Someone who can understand and support the introduction of new technology and new ways of working within large and complex operations.

Experience of Organisational Development leadership within a multi-discliplinary, customer focused business is essential, alongside experience of working effectively with Boards, Senior Leadership Teams, trade unions and employee groups. We require a confident and supportive director with a commitment to the continuous development of our people whilst fostering a culture of openness and transparency.
