Moray College UHI is both a University and a Community College. They are an academic partner of the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI) and an assigned college of the Highlands & Islands FE Region, and therefore an integral part of the broad collective which offers Further and Higher Education to individuals from the Highlands & Islands and beyond.

At Moray College UHI they aim to provide learning opportunities of the highest quality which make a significant contribution to the economic, social and cultural vitality of the Moray community.

They are now seeking a new Director of Finance who will provide strategic and high quality management to enable effective financial planning and control by the Principal and Board of Management, ensuring financial sustainability. You will also lead the commercialisation and non-funded income generation of College services as well as playing a key role in any capital investment programmes around major capital projects.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated leader and successful negotiator. He / she will hold a professional accountancy qualification, have experience of strategic financial planning, developing financial policy frameworks, and of providing management accounting services over a number of financial cycles. It is desirable that the new Director has an understanding of the Scottish Education Funding Methodologies but of upmost importance is that you share the College’s commitment to their strategic values and mission for the students, staff and communities that they serve.
