The SLCC are seeking dynamic and motivational leaders to join our small senior management team. This is a great opportunity to make real impact and bring strategic leadership to issues of national importance.

The SLCC is an independent statutory body providing a single point of contact for all complaints against legal practitioners operating in Scotland. Operating independently of the legal profession and government, the SLCC aims to resolve complaints early and efficiently, improving complaints handling across the profession with the ultimate aim of improving trust and confidence in Scottish legal services.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Director of Business Performance will be responsible for delivering the core business services which support and enable everything we do, and ensure data and analytics are in place to drive performance. The role will also be responsible for the finance, HR, digital, facilities and central administration functions of the organisation.

We are seeking an individual with excellent leadership skills, a good understanding of finances and business planning from a strategic perspective. The post-holder will be experienced in managing teams to deliver projects/programmes to deliver results and be able to operate in a matrix management environment. You will also have change management skills and experience in digitising various functions across a business.

Most importantly, we are seeking enthusiastic people with the confidence to manage change whilst bringing colleagues with you and demonstrating genuine commitment to our five values.
