Serco currently have two exciting opportunities for talented and experienced Contract Directors to provide strategic leadership to our high profile facilities management contracts at both Wishaw General Hospital and Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

The Contract Directors will operate and deliver a strategic plan for the hospital contracts, each of which employ in excess of 500 staff delivering vital facilities services 24/7, 365 days a year. The key themes will be: to deliver outstanding safety and compliance, demonstrate value for money and excellent service for the client, financial returns in line with expectations, high employee engagement and service excellence.

With full accountability and responsibility for the delivery of our services to the highest quality in strategic partnership with our clients, these are challenging and demanding roles. Therefore to achieve the key goals as Contract Director, we are looking for a unique set of skills and experience. As a highly impactful, articulate and strong relationship builder you will possess the ability to interact with senior stakeholders and communicate effectively at all levels. Your customer service focused, can-do approach will enable you to understand the customers’ key challenges, creating workable solutions and delivering them to excellent standards of customer satisfaction and staff engagement. In addition, you will be a dynamic individual with the commercial know-how and financial expertise to drive growth and service improvement.

The successful candidate must have as a solid understanding of the healthcare industry/ NHS and experience delivering hard and soft FM services in a complex and demanding environment

Reporting to our recently appointed Managing Director, Health – these roles are very much a part of the senior team responsible for developing and delivering our UK strategy.
