The University has an ambitious plan to redevelop the campus following the acquisition of the adjacent Western Infirmary site and will invest over £1bn by 2025.

The Construction and Framework Commercial Manager will be responsible for managing and leading the commercial aspects of the capital expenditure related to the Western Campus expansion and the redevelopment, refurbishment and maintenance of the existing estate.

This strategic role will be responsible for managing strong working relationships with the Programme Delivery Partner on the Western Campus and Framework Contractors. The Post holder will contribute to the creation, operation & monitoring of the Frameworks delivering construction related professional services and construction work out-with the Western Campus development. Along with the Project Director (Campus Expansion) & the Head of Procurement, the post holder will monitor and report on KPIs related to commercial aspects of the contract.
