With over 30 successful years of delivering positive impact for local communities and the economy, Barrhead Housing Association (BHA) is now searching for its new Chief Executive Officer.

Since it was established in 1986 BHA has provided a range of high quality services to its customers as well as new affordable homes for local people. This Registered Social Landlord owns and manages nearly 1,000 homes, including sheltered housing provision. Creating further impact is Levern Property Services – a subsidiary of BHA providing factoring services. The subsidiary has made surpluses which are invested into the local community and creates employment opportunities.

BHA works in partnership with others and has a live development plan to increase new affordable homes as part of East Renfrewshire Council’s strategic programme for delivering more affordable homes across the area.

This top performing organisation has ambitions to build on its reputation for excellence by growing its development plans, further developing its digital offering and exploring potential opportunities for the business to follow its continuous improvement approach.

BHA’s new CEO will have the support of a strong senior management team in delivering the business plan objectives and exploring opportunities to create further social and economic impact in the local community.

This role requires a candidate with excellent leadership qualities, who truly understands the needs of tenants and will continue to develop staff within a values led culture. The appointed candidate will have a depth of business acumen and financial management experience with demonstrable experience of achieving results through innovative solutions, promoting sustainable growth.

You will be a capable leader of change and possess experience of establishing and maintaining key partnerships and relationships with a range of stakeholders as well as being an ambassador for the organisation and community. With an entrepreneurial mind-set you will seek opportunities of partnering within the private sector to assist BHA overcome challenges of the ever changing landscape of RSL’s.
