Cassiltoun Housing Association is one of the most successful, diverse and forward thinking Housing Associations operating in Glasgow.  We want to recruit a dynamic leader with the skills to deliver our ambitious business planning objectives.

Cassiltoun Housing Association has an extensive history which dates back to 1984 – then known as Castlemilk East Housing Co-operative.  The Association evolved into Cassiltoun Housing Association in 2004 and has established two subsidiaries, Cassiltoun Stables Nursery and Cassiltoun Trust.

The Association has commenced phase one of their ambitious four year new build affordable housing programme, which will equate to £15m and will deliver 152 new homes for the local community.

Collectively, the Group employs 49 staff.  The Association is an IIP Platinum employer which demonstrates our commitment to our highly motivated and performance driven staff team.   Our mission is to “Enhance the quality of life of our clients and to regenerate and sustain our community through housing-led and resident controlled initiatives.”

Charlie Millar, the long standing Chief Executive is retiring at the end of March 2019 after 15 years of service with the Association and the board are now looking to find a new Chief Executive who can continue to build on the legacy and history of Cassiltoun Housing Association. The new Chief Executive will provide strategic leadership and direction to the Association and its subsidiaries, working closely with the Board, senior  management and staff team to deliver key objectives from their 30 year business plan. In line with the Association’s mission and vision, the new Chief Executive will identify opportunities that will positively impact the local communities further and continue with the physical, social and economic regeneration of the Castlemilk area.

The successful candidate will embrace the mission, vision and values of the Association, delivering excellent services to the tenants and local community of Castlemilk. The appointed candidate will inspire, innovate and evidence an excellent track record of leading and managing people. An entrepreneurial and innovative thinker would be well positioned to lead Cassiltoun into the future.

The postholder will be based at our multi award winning Castlemilk Stables which was fully renovated and brought back to use in 2007 by Cassiltoun Trust.
