The British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) is the professional body for facilities management. Founded in 1993, they promote best practice for the benefit of practitioners, the economy and society. Supporting and representing over 16,000 members around the world, both individual FM professionals and organisations, and thousands more through qualifications and training.

BIFM benefit from a large and vibrant network of volunteers and stakeholders and they are committed to advancing the facilities management profession through membership, qualifications, training and networking services designed to support professionals in performing to the best of their ability. 

Following a period of change at BIFM, they are now seeking a new Chief Executive to join them and continue with their renewed strategic focus for the organisation.  With oversight of all aspects of the operational and strategic management of BIFM, you will work in close collaboration with the Board of Directors and the executive leadership team in the stewardship of the organisation.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of strategic leadership skills and the intellectual breadth to grasp the opportunities and challenges facing BIFM.

You will have a successful track record at a senior executive level within a complex organisation. Your excellent communication, influencing, negotiation, stakeholder management and financial planning skills mean you command credibility outside the organisation, and inspire staff to drive improvement and deliver results.
