Create Paisley strive to build positive relationships. CREATE achieve this through art, workshops, youth voice and participation activities, run by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers. This includes through music, photography, art and spoken word.
The Chief Executive Role
Providing senior direction and leadership to the organisation, the Executive Director helps to deliver an ambitious and bold strategy to grow with a vision of seeing ‘every young person have hope for the future’. This will include working towards four key strategic aims to: co-produce engaging programmes, grow sustainable fundraising, build successful partnerships, and develop quality operations. The Executive Director will have responsibility for delivering and revision of the current strategy as well as building partnerships to leverage continue support for the organisation. They will provide organisation management to staff as well as a comprehensive understanding of governance structures. They will be the external spokesperson for the organisation who will champion its services and consolidate its work.
Who will you be?
An innovative and experienced leader, this role will be ideal for a candidate with experience of both operational and strategic perspective. You will provide fresh perspective to the existing organisation ideally with a good understanding of the challenges that face a small organisation. Experience of working on or with a board as well as governance procedures would be ideal. You will have led a team and be able to bring a thread of staff development to your role. Fundamentally you will be sharp, proactive, and committed to excellence as well as passionate about supporting young people!
