As Chief Executive of East Renfrewshire Council, you’ll lead one of Scotland’s most forward-thinking and successful local authorities and its 4000 staff.
The role will involve working closely with public sector partners, local communities and overseeing the work of council departments in driving forward improvements which will improve the lives of residents and have a positive impact on the experience of both internal and external customers.
Collaborative and dynamic leadership will be at the heart of everything you do, whether ensuring an ambitious strategy is developed for the area, advancing the role of digital technology and understanding the impact of future challenges such as financial pressures and climate change, or delivering the best possible services.
An inspirational and forward-thinking strategic leader, you will have a strong track record in building effective partnerships and delivering innovative solutions focused on results-based service improvement across a large and complex organisation.
With a proven flair for shaping change and leading people, you will have a crucial role in ensuring we continue to challenge ourselves to offer excellent services to all our residents.
