Muirhouse Housing Association is a Registered Social Landlord that provides 570 homes to tenants in the North of Edinburgh. MHA aim to deliver quality, affordable homes and services for the local community. MHA are an outward facing organisation, who value close relationships with other Housing Associations and the local city council.

MHA are pleased to be appointing a new Asset Officer to join the team in delivering a comprehensive and high-quality asset and maintenance function for tenants. This is an exciting opportunity to join the organisation during a dynamic growth phase with an expanding team. There is an abundance of opportunity for fresh ideas and new challenges for the post holder who will join the team in driving the delivery of quality community housing.

The role will include ensuring the delivery of planned, cyclical and reactive maintenance, with the procurement and management of contracts, as well as taking a key role in the oversight and management of stock condition.  The successful candidate will work with MHA’s Asset Manager to provide technical management of the properties ensuring that MHA offer high quality homes which meet the needs of residents.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate relevant experience in related areas, such as repairs, maintenance, facilities management, property services or residential projects. Direct RSL experience is not essential although transferability to the sector must be demonstrated in application. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused and comfortable working in a small team to deliver big outcomes.
