No Wrong Path – Tuesday, August 9th, 2022

Last month, we celebrated one year as an accredited living wage employer. Today, however, we want to talk about something else. Something that has a significant effect on young people across Scotland. We know that some hit the ground running; some take years to discover what is suitable for their career paths. However, one thing is for sure is that there is no wrong path.

Aspen People are blessed to have a very diverse and passionate team here in Glasgow. But, we believe that there is no wrong path. As exam results day approaches in just a couple of weeks we are, for the first time, actively supporting the #NoWrongPath campaign on Tuesday, 9th August 2022.

The mega social media movement #NoWrongPath launched five years ago in 2017. Developing the Young Workforce established the movement; inspiring and reassuring young people receiving their exam results.

Many young students may feel disheartened by their exam results. The campaign aims to illustrate that many people in exciting jobs may not have taken an obvious straight-line or traditional path to get where they are today. Pointing particular focus on the fact that there is No Wrong Path.

No Wrong Path aims to show our young people the available options and that exam results are not necessarily the key to unlocking their future success.

We encourage people to join the campaign on Tuesday, 9th August 2022. Our team are preparing their own. Join the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce and us. Post a picture of yourself holding a sign outlining your name, what you did when you left high school and what you are doing now.

For additional information and help on getting involved in the movement, take a look at the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce website here or even sign up for some additional training on the likes of Microsoft Word and Excel, First Aid (at Work) training, and more.

Remember to use #NoWrongPath when you post on any of your favourite social media platforms.
