Executive Director
Salary: £90,000
As the pace of development accelerates, the Trust is now looking to expand with the addition of an Executive Director.
Key responsibilities for the role will include:
- Project Management – at the direction of the Board, and in particular the Project Committee, day-to-day liaison with the Project Manager to ensure the operational requirements are fully co-ordinated with the design delivery
- Project Development – at the direction of the Board, and in particular the newly appointed NCM Chair and Development Director, preparing a plan for the establishment of the NCM
- Governance – at the direction of the Board, and in particular the Chair, ensuring governance requirements for RHSPT and NCM are met
- Communications and advocacy
- Finance
- HR and Health & Safety
The ideal candidate would have strong project management and development experience. Candidates with a passion for classical music and/or built heritage would be well suited. A working knowledge of the City of Edinburgh would additionally stand a candidate in good stead. Candidates would naturally see the building’s restoration as a considerable gain for Scotland’s built heritage and its repurposing a substantial enrichment to Scotland’s cultural life.
