£112,606 – £115,895 (EVH Grade 12, points 4-6)
Are you an experienced and values-driven leader who is passionate about making a positive impact on communities? West of Scotland Housing Association (WSHA) is seeking a dynamic Chief Executive Officer to guide the organisation through its next phase of growth and development.
As Chief Executive, you will report to the Board and lead the WSHA team in delivering outstanding services to our tenants while maintaining and enhancing the financial viability and governance of the organisation. You will play a key role in engaging and developing relationships with tenants, stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring WSHA’s vision and values are reflected in everything we do.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic direction and development of WSHA in line with Board policies and the Scottish Housing Regulator requirements.
- Build effective working relationships with the Board
- Lead the Corporate Management Team in delivering WSHA’s objectives and meeting performance targets.
- Oversee the activities of our subsidiaries, Willowacre Trust and Westscot Living, ensuring alignment with WSHA’s mission.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
- Drive financial sustainability, value for money, and operational excellence.
- Champion health and safety, risk management, and diversity within the organisation.
About You:
The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader with a track record of successfully managing change and delivering high performance within a complex organisation. You will be an excellent communicator with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style, able to inspire and engage colleagues, tenants, and partners alike. Direct RSL experience is valuable but not a prerequisite for application; candidates who can evidence transferability from other sectors will be considered.
