The Trust Story …

Born out of a philanthropic movement in the early 1970’s, Trust has become a leading national social landlord and care provider.  We are dedicated to delivering high-quality, affordable homes and support services across Scotland supported by our main offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Wishaw.

An innovator in our sector, we have grown from 2500 to almost 4000 homes over the last five years spanning 23 of Scotland’s 32 local authority areas.  We offer a warm welcome to new partnerships and seeking out new relationships with those who bring fresh ideas and align with our values.

Trust provides housing and services for households of all ages – including general needs, mid-market rent and shared ownership – and we are one of the country’s largest providers of housing, care, and support for older people.  But much more than a landlord and service provider, we are an organisation who cares and are here to make a positive difference in the lives of the customers and the communities we serve. Our customers and communities are at the heart of everything we do.

We currently employ around 700 people in a broad range of roles from   landlord, care, catering, and repairs and maintenance to digital, finance, people, service design and communications. We are very proud to be Fair Work First employers and a Platinum Investors in People organisation and have been at the forefront of equality, diversity and inclusion across the sector.
