We are a wildlife conservation charity with a bold vision: a world where nature is protected, valued and loved. This is an incredible opportunity to play a key role in delivering this vision at a time when nature needs us all more than ever.
Edinburgh Zoo is iconic in Scotland and Highland Wildlife Park is the jewel in the Cairngorms National Park, recently voted the country’s best visitor attraction. But we are so much more than that.
RZSS is an international leader in conservation science, animal welfare and engaging communities with nature. Together with our members, supporters, partners, staff and volunteers, we are determined to maximise our impact for nature.
This is why we have pledged to reverse the decline of 50 species, create deeper connections with nature for more than a million people and help more than 100 communities to better protect our natural world – all by 2030. We are also determined to become net zero by 2040.
We are looking for an inspiring leader to join our team at this exciting period in our charity’s development – someone with all the fundamentals this role requires, as well as the drive, energy and critical thinking to drive RZSS further forwards.
