The successful candidate will join a team both within the council and Health and Social Care Partnership with a clear and sustained focus on delivering our strategic priorities and ensuring we maintain a strong core of services as a foundation on which to deliver our future vision.

Moray Integration Joint Board has the responsibility for the strategic planning and oversight of delivery of services delegated from Moray Council and NHS Grampian, these include Children, Families and Justice Services for which the role is responsible and as such, the post holder will be a key member of the Health and Social Care Partnership Leadership Team. Whilst the role is part of the senior leadership of Health and Social Care Moray, the influence and leadership spans Moray Council and NHS Grampian as well.

This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to contribute towards shaping the future direction of the council, the IJB and Health and Social Care Moray to improve and modernise services for people living in Moray and put their needs at the heart of responsive service delivery. With increasing demands and ongoing budgetary challenges, there remains a spotlight on delivering Best Value and transformation at pace. The successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to influence and will have responsibility and authority to drive service improvement and change and support the development of customer/user centred, high-performance culture.
