Senior Communications Officer
Salary/Grade: £36,585 – £41,834 / Grade B2
Hybrid working arrangement with an office based Livingston

ILF Scotland are seeking a Senior Communications Officer to join their dedicated team.

As the conduit between ILF Scotland and its diverse range of stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in implementing, executing and delivering our communications and engagement strategies, collaborating closely with the Communications Manager.

Your responsibilities will encompass various facets of communication, including public relations, digital communications, marketing, and internal communications. You’ll have excellent communication and marketing skills, with strong experience and knowledge of PR, digital communications and engagement.

The successful candidate will possess excellent project management and organisational abilities and have experience of developing and delivering communication campaigns across various channels. You will be able to demonstrate proficiency in utilising diverse communication tools and technologies including social media analytics platforms, such as Hootsuite, website hosting platforms, such as WordPress and Umbracco, and marketing tools, such as Canva, Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor and Adobe Creative Suite.

Due to the nature of ILF Scotland’s work, previous experience in PR and marketing in Health and Social Care or Public Sector would be advantageous. This role is a fantastic opportunity if you are a self-starter and a motivated individual with exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills who has demonstrable experience in the public relations and marketing world.
