Forth Valley College has designed roles and structured departments to underpin their mission for “Making Learning Work”. We are working together with Aspen People to appoint a new Principal. The new Principal will be responsible for leading the College in the successful achievement of its vision and strategic aims and objectives. They will also be responsible for creating and maintaining a culture that fully reflects the College values, leading by example with passion, credibility, and visibility across the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience of educational leadership coupled with a demonstrable track record of achievement in a senior leadership role, alongside determination to advance equality and diversity through all aspects of college life. They will also have relevant knowledge/experience of curriculum development and academic innovation and a proven ability to deliver successful outcomes working with regional and national partners. The successful candidate will also have a proven track record in financial and budgetary control including the ability to develop financial strategies and to identify and implement new funding opportunities.
