The City of Dundee

Dundee is a historic city set in a beautiful, sunny location on the East coast of Scotland. As well as being a compact city, Dundee has good schools and beautiful surrounding countryside within moments reach. Just a little over an hour’s drive away from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen, Dundee’s property prices can be considerably lower than those of Scotland’s larger cities and the quality of life is good.

Dundee is the UK’s first UNESCO City of Design and is a city which has big ambitions. In September 2018, Dundee became home to Scotland’s first Design Museum, the V&A Museum of Design, and the Eden Project has announced exciting plans to bring their world-class environmental project and visitor centre to the city by 2024.

Dundee and our Campus

The heart of the University lies in Bell Street, where our teaching and learning facilities, offices, research centres, and the Library are all within metres of each other. The city centre campus means that everything is within easy reach- the transport links, bars, restaurants, and leisure facilities.
