With our main campuses located in Dunfermline, Rosyth, Glenrothes, Levenmouth and Kirkcaldy, we operate within the heart of Fife’s communities.

Fife College has a turnover of £55 million, of which 76% is funding from the Scottish Funding Council. The College currently has various non-SFC income sources through existing commercial contracts with employers, local authorities and other government agencies, and also including tuition fees from the Scottish Government, which amounts to £13 million.

Fife is Scotland’s third largest local authority area with a resident population of just under 372,000. The latest Regional Skills Assessment for Fife shows demand for skills across a diverse range of employment sectors and our high quality, sector leading programmes are designed to align with and respond to the needs of the regional economy.

Our primary focus is skills development and providing our students with the opportunity to build their skills and abilities, supporting close collaboration and seamless pathways between schools, college, universities and employers so that our students can secure employment and actively contribute to society and the economy.

We offer vocational training to complement academic programmes of study, and our strong, collaborative networks and partnerships bring together knowledge, skills and expertise to help develop career pathways for people of all ages. We are proud to be in a prime position to provide further and higher education opportunities, helping to ensure Fife and Scotland’s place at the forefront of skills and knowledge development.
