The Mungo Foundation is a leading charity operating across Glasgow and neighbouring authorities. We provide specialist social care services to over 1500 people via our team of 700 staff and volunteers. We are one of the largest employers in Glasgow with annual income of £16.5 million. At any one time we will typically run 40 different types of projects, delivering support to individuals, their families and communities Our services extend across:

  • provision of short-break and outreach support for families, children & young people;
  • residential building-based respite services for adults;
  • tenancy support to young adults who are at risk of homelessness;
  • support for young unaccompanied asylum seekers;
  • small group home residential care services for adults and older people;

The post holder will play a pivotal role in our senior management team and will work closely with the Executive management team to help the organisation reach its full potential.

The role of Financial Controller reports to the Deputy Chief Executive/ Finance Director and will be required, on occasions to attend our Board of Trustee meetings, providing financial reports and strategic insight that ensures our strategic and operating priorities are informed and remain relevant.
