Dear applicant,

Thank you very much for your interest in the role of Trustee with Visualise Scotland.

Visualise is a relatively small social care organisation, based in Edinburgh. We provide bespoke support packages to individuals living with disabilities in Edinburgh and the Lothians, through our day services, housing support and care at home. We have around 80 employees and support 21 people. Our turnover is around £2.5 million per year and we are almost exclusively funded by local authorities.

Now is an exciting time to join Visualise Scotland’s board as we are just about to launch a new strategy to enable the organisation to rebuild and thrive as we deal with the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. We are looking to diversify our income streams, develop the organisation for the future and maintain the high-quality support which we are known for.

Our trustees are integral to the success of our organisation, guiding its development and providing strategic oversight. We are committed to having a diverse board which reflects a range of skills and life experiences.
