Thank you for your interest in this vital leadership role in our organisation. Sacro is a unique place to work and has an amazing team of talented and dedicated people who work in challenging and rewarding settings every single day. We are a people first organisation, led by our values and we need to reflect this in our human resources work.
Our Head of People must first and foremost be compassionate and values led, but able to give the tough messages to our leadership and to employees when we need to improve. This is a strategic role but day to day support for our teams must be a high priority, providing expert help so that they can focus on supporting the people we work with.
Alongside an excellent knowledge of HR legalisation and current good practice, you will be an excellent listener, trusted as a confidential source of good advice and practical in your approach to employee relations. At the same time, you will be able to advise the Board, Chief Executive and Leadership Team to deliver the best possible management and leadership to our staff teams.
Management of change will be a key skill as will the practicalities of TUPE and all aspects of employee relations. The role includes regular reporting to trustees at committee and Board level, using data and insight to identify risks, trends and opportunities for improvement.
