About Us

Erskine Veterans Charity supports Veterans and their families to live with dignity, independence and purpose after service. Each year, we support around 1,250 beneficiaries through a distinctive blend of care, accommodation and community-based services across Scotland.

Erskine is widely recognised for excellence in Veterans nursing and residential care. Our care homes provide a safe, supportive environment where Veterans live among people who understand military life and culture. Care is person-centred and tailored to individual needs, with accessible en-suite bedrooms opening onto shared living and dining spaces. Dedicated activities teams create programmes that promote wellbeing, connection and quality of life.

Alongside residential care, Erskine delivers an expanding range of community services designed to support Veterans earlier and closer to home. These include Veterans Activity Centres, supported and assisted living accommodation, transition support for those moving into civilian life, and flexible help delivered directly in Veterans’ own homes.

As Veteran demographics change, so does our approach. Many Veterans now live far from traditional service hubs, often clustered in cities, towns and regions shaped by former bases or employment patterns. Our strategy is clear: we are expanding services into the communities where Veterans have coalesced, rather than expecting people to travel to us. This means growing our regional presence, opening new community facilities, and building local teams who understand local need.

At Erskine, people matter. Our staff bring professionalism, compassion and commitment to everything they do. Whether working in care, housing or community support, joining Erskine means being part of a charity that is ambitious, values-led, and focused on delivering real, lasting impact for Veterans and their families.
